“One of the unfair things about taxing the wealthy is that it neglects to consider the run up to it.   Many of the people they target are people who make money in silicon valley.  Which are many of the multi-billionaires.
What’s not considered is that many of them work for 10+ years at multiple start-ups for low money.  Sharing homes with friends and working crazy hours while chasing the dream. Then, 10 years later, when one of their ventures finally turns into a payday.    Or you struggle and scrape for 20 years to build a business.
Then, once it hits, someone wants to take 50% or more of it.”
