I have also been a proponent of having recurring, status-check meetings in the afternoon – instead of morning.   For most people, middle of morning is the most productive time of the day.   So don’t break that up with a meeting that doesn’t result in specific, critical action items.   If the meeting isn’t interesting/important enough to do at 3:30 or 4:00 in the afternoon – maybe it should just be an email or a Zoom meeting.
